Day 1
Yea.. Day 1 was spent at Granny's and it wasn't exactly fruitful coz my 2 other uncles' families ain't present. (2 lesser ang baos to collect!! DarN..) My bro n I squeezed onto the 3 sitter sofa n fell asleep while waiting for my youngest uncle's family to arrive.. We were slping like piggies!!
Haven't seen my granny for like 10,000 yrs!! She has aged alot since I last saw her. Apparently she cldn't recognise my brother n thought that he is my BoyFriend!! (HorroRs of HorrORs.. Since when I have such bad taste??!!.. I almost threw up 10 yrs worth of food.) Lucky she could still recognise me... so it wasn't too bad :p Ke ke.. Tatz how I ended up w an extra Ang Bao for HY^^ n my granny seemed so happy to see tat I have "finally grown up"
So happy to see my cousins though we are not very close. Lots of catching up to do.. and as usual I do most of the talking (tat goes for being the eldest grand child w e rest like 10 years younger than u..) They jus answer my qns machiam like interview.. HAha..
Went we were getting ready to leave, I suddenly felt that my granny looks much frailer since the last time I saw her. Cldn't resist the urge but to give her a big hug before I left the house.. (1st time I've done tat) It's an emotional moment cos thoughs like, "If I dun hug her now, I might not be able to do it b4 it's too late."
Day 2
I spent the whole morning catching up on my Stats.. Super boring stuff but still gotta swallow the bitter pill. I was alone at home while my parents n lil bro went to my grand aunt's house. Finally some peace n quiet to do some work.
2pm Baby Nigel came!! I was practically "over the rainbow!!" :p NigeL grows cuter each n everyday!! He's MINE for the next 4 hrs till dinner time^^ He's such a cheerful baby. Jus need to call his name n he'll jus laugh heartily.. I'm like so obsessed over him lor.. Busy taking pictures.. carrying him.. tickling him.. feeding him.. lulling him to slp.. bring him see tortise.. argh!! Nigel is sOOO cute!! His skin is so soft n smooth n I can't resist the temptation to touch him!! Much easier to carry him now that he has got stronger neck muscles.. Gosh!! I'm so proud to be his GoD sis!!
Rite tatz all for CNY.. Tmr will be back to reality with neverending work load. Most prob will be hiding out at AMK lib with LTB mates to check out some children books for the drama corner we are doing for Loving Childcare Centre. Foresee some fun n laughter plus lots of stress!! :p
