Finally got my first job offer and I rejected it. The job wasn't that bad, I had the opportunity to take charge of a whole subsidiary in the full spectrum of HR. The manager even upped my salary to my expectation of 2.4 from the initial offer of 2k. Now as I have half the mind to call the manager back to reinstate the offer. I know it's impossible as it will show how indecisive I am as a person. But I feel really bad for the manager as she really needs someone urgently from Jan08 onwards.

I have other opportunities on hand and of course they seem sweeter than the offer from BT. But I will not really know, will I? Anyway, I feel much better after speaking to Von. You're right, I don't have to feel so emotional or about the manager's predicament since this happens quite frequently in the working world. Just hope that the next offer that comes along will be worth it.
