Okiez.. My HP is working fine now after I left it to dry under the aircon.. Gave me such a huge scare in the morning.. I was jus holding tears back... Actually teach me a lesson to take care of my belongings.. esp my HP. Since manhandle it quite frequently.. heh... sorry...
My weekend was quite fruitful as Von put it. Fri wen to collect my new spects in the evening. It's purple frame this time.. Guess not many ppl noticed but its ok.. Been wearing glases for all my life :p
Then Sat was one nostalgic nite spent celebrating my bestest fren's 21st birthday at Sakae Sushi and Marina Manderin Hotel.. There were lots of catching up and laughter esp with my Azuko!! I knw u hate me calling u this but hey u were the one who brought up this teen fetish of mine k :p So many yrs have passed but we still share this special bond which I'm so blessed to have. It's great to knw that such bonds will never change. Brought my dear along and I guess he did learn alot abt me and my past.. Heh.. More than I ever told him.. I think..
After dinner, loaded with calories and good spirits, we headed to Marina Manderin for drinks and cake... The ambience was superb! We were led to the VIP area where a quintet was playing soft classical music. The atmosphere was romantic and the seats were comfy.. Many thanks to JX, Mr Prim and Proper, who did a wonderful job as the organiser. (Sld rope him in to study in SMU and join me in the Events Dept of BE. He rocks! He's going to Aussie end of this yr.. Going to miss having him ard.) There was excellent service - the sexy waitress, wearing red cheogsam sith slits riding to their hips took our orders without writing anything down. She din get any of our orders wrong! and we could dedicate any songs tat could be played comfortably by the flutist, celloist, violinist and the pianist. Dear Azuko dedicated this Kevin Kern song that I love and my heart jus melted... I din knw u knw I love this song~~ Thanks a million!! All along we were sitting next to the hotel's director's who were drinking the nite away in celebration for the hotels 3 mths renovation. It was the last nite of the hotel's operation. Our lucky b'day gal had a birthday song sung by them and in turn we sang If We Hold On Together for them.. I jus wish the nite din't end with heavy rain pouring.. Well prob that'z heaven's way of telling me.. "Get Back to Earth little gal." But definitely it's nite to remember.. and Azuko.. We sld meet up more often ok? Plz dun get irritated.. Azuko is a nice name!!
