So I have been back from Ubin for a few days already. And what I really have been doing for the past few days is to slack around as much as I can and space out as much as I want to before the school starts. Not that I am going to have a loaded sem ahead of me.
I only have 2 modules!! How sad can!! Lament.. Lament... Lament.. Haiz.. Shouldn't have been so stingy with my e$. Well hopefully I get at least 2 more classes when Boss 2 starts.
Anywayz camp was good and I believe those kids enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Though it rained on Day 1, they were not put off by the inconvenience that the rain had caused. Instead their enthusiasium can be felt stronger within a more constrainted area. I almost went deaf from hearing their screams of excitement. Some more garang ones ran around the field in the rain to play catching, some are more interested in catching grasshoppers.. One even catched crabs during lunch on Day 2 -Amazing race.
Yeah..
While the kids are having the time of their lives, us - the "adults", almost cough out blood trying to coordinate things so that the programmes ran smoothly. The rain almost spoil it for us. But we managed to come up with Plan B pretty quickly. Mind that there wasn't a Plan B at all except to "shift everything indoors". And we have to deal with a very lousy games committee. Made up of a grand total of 4 very inefficient ladies who are also super calculative about everyones' contribution towards the whole project. @#%$^%! And the MCs from the camp fire committe should go for BE's integrated MC training LOR! They sound like they are operating on flat batteries. Lucky kids are easy to please.. Hehehe.. If it is me attend this camp.. I throw temper liao lor! ^^
Overall, it was quite an experience since it is the first time I play the role of an exco. Great seeing people I haven't seen for ages and having fun at the sidelines.
