I have been doing all the house work since mommy went left for Taiwan on Wed. Like people say, " You'll not appreciate what you have only until you've lost it." This is exactly what I am feeling now. I dun usually have to give a hoot about household chores and it's just horrifying that I am suddenly thrown all these household responsibilities albeit temporarily. Mopping, doing laundry, washing dishes, sweeping the floor just churns itself into an unending vicious cycle. I am starting to find rhythm in this though I can't say I'm enjoying every min of it. Can't wait for mommy to be back so that she can resume her role as housewife while I resume mine as a spoilt child. Haha!
It seems that I am living a double life now.. Doing housework in the morning and then spending the afternoon out shopping and eating. This was what happened 2 days ago with my cousin:

Haven't done something quite like that in a long long while. Needless to say we had an amazing time posing and decorating the neoprint. The quality of neoprint now has improved so much compared to the ones from the olden days which goes like, "NEOprintTO" every 2 seconds.
And yesterday, I had dinner with Von at the new Ramen restaurant at TBP. The food is quite good but the main draw is the old skool ambience of that place. It's like being transported back to the 60's once you are seated in the restaurant. Service is excellent too - This waiter gave me a 10% discount on my dad's NTUC link card though I did not bring the physical card along. You people should try the Xiao Long Bao, Shanghai red bean pancake and the mango pudding there!
There after, both of us decided to walk around the mall instead of going to town and guess what?! We went for a foot reflexology session on impluse! I was telling her how I wanted to do pedicure which includes a foot massage and then we found ourselves outside this massage shop that offers 30 min foot reflexology at $22. Von wanted to try it out and I allowed myself to get tempted to it as well. Damn it lor.. We are like 2 giggly gals first time out on excursion can!
Anyway, the whole session was super relaxing despite some moments of pain when that guy pressed the "wrong buttons" All in all my liver, stomach, kidneys, bladder are weak areas. The only strong area is my BRAIN! (the areas at the top of your first toe) Guess I have studied too much in my life.. Von will gladly agree with this statement.
Later I will be going to Grandma's house with my dad which marks the end of my school hols for the year 2007. I will be returning to the sad life of a student till I graduate in Dec. What a way ti spend the last summer hols as a student.
