All in A Day of A Girl Like Me

Had my mid term paper for Portfolio Management this morning. It was surprisingly not as terrible as I thought it would be. Luckily I spent some time doing up the "Cheat Sheets" which really facilitated the searching for formulaes and definitions. Hahaha.. Well hopefully can score well for this test.

Anyway, I had lunch with the cupcake at Tanjong Pagar Market which is near where he works. Actually wanted to surprise him by waiting for him at his office's lift lobby instead of at the MRT's station control. But this bimbo here :p went to the wrong building then end up walking to Amara Shopping Centre and found herself window shopping for shoes while waiting for his call..

-_- Damn lor.. I should have checked properly before I executed my "surprise" Well at least lunch was good and we enjoyed each other's company despite the fact that the food centre was disgustingly crowded. Too bad the cupcake could not be released for lunch earlier to avoid this lunch crowd maddness. I had Jap Teriyakki chicken rice set while he had his usual chicken rice. If any of you happen to eat at Tanjong Pagar market you should really try the Jap Cuisine there. It's fabulous i tell you. I think the curry sets are their speciality since it was sold out by the time I was there and it was 1.15pm. Enough said.

Evening was spent at Table 108@ Chijmes
with a few BE seniors and the current Exco who were facing some issues about the club's flagging "family bond" culture. But I guess everything boils down to effective communication top-down. Suddenly I thought of something I learnt in Cross Cultural Management on how a new expat manager in a local country has only a short window period to set his tone. So if "family culture" is considered as a focal point of being in this club that I hope the top four will quickly get down communicating to the rest of the club what's on their minds and set a direction. Opportunity costs are inevitable but can be minimized if the club can work together as a team to seive out the best possible decisions. All these are in words which can be easy.. The real challenge comes when it comes to implementing our ideas.. Haiz..
