Met with my pri sch frens at this Jap restaurant in Central called Sho-yu. The interior decor and food serving layout were quite exquisite but I din have my dinner there cos I was in sch settling my locker issue. Anyway, it was extremely heart warming to see so many of my pri sch frens. There were about 16 of us which made us the biggest group in the restaurant. And when we took a group photo, it just felt like taking a sch class photo all together again. Although we seldom meet but when we do, it just seem so effortless to continue from where we left off the last time. In fact the whole we realise almost the class in in contact one way or another but it's impossible to coodinate a gathering where every single person can turn up. 16 out of 40 is already quite an achievement I would say.
Everyone is doing different things now and when I was back in pri sch I could never had imagine that the person sitting next to me would one day be a grad from mechanical engineering or a classmate would be going to Australia to build her career and may never come back and another is going to work as a management trainee at Swisshotel. It is really interesting to see where life can bring you. What will be my career fate in the future? I am extremely unsure about this issue.. HR? Finance? Accounts? The feeling is like "Jack of all trades, master of none" But I felt so satisfied after knowing that I may be able to hook up one of my pri sch fren with my company for a project manager position. This gives me a big hint.. I feel great great giving people job opportunities. Maybe I will indeed go into HR recruitment field. So you people! Better start treating me better cos I may one day be your hiring manager! Roar!!!
And wat's more.. Today I get to try liaising with employment agencies to hire temp staff.. So shall see where this brings me too.. Not much time left with the interning company but I hope I can try out more HR duties other than the admin side.
